Start with a Personalized Dog Training Consultation

Every successful training program begins with understanding your dog. During your consultation, Paul will discuss your dog’s age, temperament, history, current behavior, and your goals. From there, he can recommend the most appropriate training path for your household.

Dog Training Questions, Answered

Learn more about Paul’s training approach, behavior programs, tools, Board & Train experience, and what to expect after training.

Paul uses a balanced, real-world approach tailored to each dog’s temperament, history, behavior, and goals. Training combines clear communication, fair boundaries, meaningful rewards, repetition, and carefully selected tools. The goal is dependable behavior, confidence, impulse control, and skills owners can continue maintaining at home—not a one-size-fits-all result.

Yes, depending on the individual assessment. Paul works with dogs experiencing serious reactivity, resource guarding, aggression, and documented bite histories. Because every case carries different risks and needs, enrollment in the Hard-Core Extreme Program requires a detailed evaluation before training begins. Program structure, safety measures, and realistic goals are determined individually for each dog and household.

Paul selects training tools according to each dog’s temperament, behavior, experience, and goals. Depending on the dog, these may include food rewards, toys, flat collars, slip leads, long lines, prong collars, or remote training collars when appropriate. Every tool is introduced with proper fit, clear timing, fair application, and owner instruction. No tool replaces patience, repetition, consistency, or a strong relationship between dog and handler.

Your dog stays with Paul in a home environment—not in an outside kennel facility. This allows training to include household manners, structured routines, supervised downtime, and practical behavior throughout everyday life. Living in a home setting also helps make the transition back to your family more natural and manageable.

At the end of the program, Paul provides a hands-on Family Turnover Session to teach you how to handle the equipment, reinforce household boundaries, use the trained commands, and maintain your dog’s progress. A professionally trained dog is not a robot—lasting results depend on the owner’s timing, patience, consistency, and continued practice at home. You will leave with clear guidance for carrying the training into everyday life.
